Chess Championships
The WSECC Coaches' Meetings is held during the Championships each year.
2011 Coaches Meeting Information
Important Note:
Ballots will be available at the Policy Board table throughout the day
and in the coach's meeting room at the beginning of Round 5. The meeting will take place in
room 406 (4th floor) of the Convention Center.
Round 3 (12:30)
10 minutes after round 3 starts, the bid presentations will take place. There will be 10 minutes for each bid to be presented. After all the bids have been presented, a Question and Answer time will be allowed. This will also be a time to request to bring something for the later meeting agenda and to suggest candidates for WSECC board.
Round 5 (4:30)
10 minutes after the rounds starts, a discussion meeting will be held to discuss any policy board issues including items on the ballot. Elections of new officers to serve from 2011-2013 will also be held at this time. Questions are best addressed prior to the state tournament day as we are working hard to provide the best environment for the players and families during the tournament!

1. Proposal from the WSECC board to separate the current Tournament Policy into two documents (click to open draft)
By-Laws (changes to which require approval at the annual or otherwise scheduled coaches’ meeting)
Tournament Policy (changes to which may be done by the board outside of the annual coaches’ meeting)

3. Voting for 2013 state tournament site
